Le land art est une tendance artistique apparue vers la fin des années 60 basée sur l’utilisation de matériaux trouvés dans la nature (roches, sables, bois etc.). Souvent monumentales, ces œuvres contemporaines éphémères s’exposent à l’extérieur jusqu’à leur érosion naturelle. D’autres médiums sont parfois utilisés par l’artiste pour garder une trace de sa réalisation (photographie, vidéo etc.).
Land art is an artistic trend that emerged in the late 1960s based on the use of materials found in nature (rocks, sand, wood, etc.). Spesso monumentali, queste opere contemporanee effimere sono esposte all’aperto fino alla loro naturale erosione.
